1.What is Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro?

Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro are smart and super fax image viewers and fax image converters.
With Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro, you can open, view, print, convert not only known fax such as tif/fax, fmf, fxd, fxm, fxr, fxs, bfx, dcx, qfx, apf, awd, g3f, g3n, etc, but also almost ALL other unknown fax images, no matter what fax formats those fax iamges are.
When a fax image is displayed in Smart FaxSee or FaxSee Pro, you can also print it out, or convert it to a standard TIF/FAX file, if it is not a standard TIF/FAX file.
Unlike other fax/image viewers which can open only their own fax files (or few known format fax files), Smart FaxSee can show,print,convert almost ALL fax files, no matter what format it is, only if it is a FAX file!

2.What fax formats does Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro support?

Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro each supports many fax formats, click to see detail.

In fact,Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro can open, view, print almost ALL fax images, no matter what format those fax are!
It's easy to testify: you just rename a known fax file (for example,a winfax file test.fxr) to unknown format (for example,test.fxr.x),smart faxsee will still open it correctly. The only difference is,it cost much more time to open an unknown format fax file.

3.Why I need Smart FaxSee and/or FaxSee Pro?

Fax images are usually comes from various fax softwares or scanners, with different file formats. For example,*.FXD,*.FXS,etc are WinFax fax files, *.FMF is FaxWizard fax files, and TIF/FAX is standard fax file formats supported by many fax softwares and scanners. These different fax files can only be viewed by specific viewers made by their own companies. You have to switch fax viewers from one to another to view different fax images.
Now with Smart FaxSee or FaxSee Pro, you can open, view all these fax images. Father more, you can view ALL G3 fax (T.4 compressed)images, and Most G4 fax (T.6 compressed) images .Cool!
If you want to convert any other fax files to standard TIFF/FAX files, you need Smart FaxSee or FaxSee Pro, too.

4.Does Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro run on any Windows?

Yes. Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro each runs on Windows 9x, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000 , Windows XP & Windows 2003.

5. Needd I register smart faxsee and/or FaxSee Pro?

Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro are function limit shareware. Unregister copies of Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro can open, view, thumb view, print only part of a fax image, and can not convert fax to tif.
If you open a fax image with unregistered smart faxsee or faxsee pro, you can see only PART of the fax image is opened, not the whole fax image.
If you want open view, print, convert the whole fax iamges with Smart FaxSee or FaxSee Pro, you must register first. Registered users has the FULL functions, and would get full supports. Moreover, registered users are free to upgrade to their new versions now.
A message of "Please register to view this FAX image" is displayed on the status bar in Smart FaxSee, if you are not registered.
A message of "Unregistered copy" is displayed on the status bar in FaxSee Pro, if you are not registered.

6. How to register Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro?

As soon as you register the Smart FaxSee and/or FaxSee Pro with the register code you get, you can achieve the full functions immediately. That is, you can browse, open, view, print, convert ALL the G3 fax images, and MOST G4 fax images, wonderful!

Note: You'd better close the Smart FaxSee / FaxSee Pro first when you register it, then run it again.

2. Can I rotate my fax in smart faxsee / FaxSee Pro?

Yes, Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro can flip and mirror your fax. That is, you can rorate your fax images horizontally and vertivally only.
This is a useful feature as you have upside down fax images.

3. Can I slide show my fax in smart faxsee / FaxSee Pro?

Yes, Smart FaxSee and FaxSee Pro do support slide show now.
You can set slide show interval from "Settings|Options" menu item.

Functionality

1.When I open a tif file, nothing is done, why?

Smart Faxsee and FaxSee Pro are FAX-objected viewers that open only fax compressed tif files, which are known as tif/fax files (include MH, group 3 (T.4) and group 4 (T.6) compressed tif files). FaxSee Pro can also open PackBits black-white tif files.
Smart Faxsee and FaxSee Pro will not open other tif files.

2.When open a fax, it seems open and show only part of the fax, why?

Smart FaxSee and Faxsee are function limited shareware, The limitations are:

As soon as you register your own license, you'll achieve the FULL functions immediately. You can browse, open, view, print, convert ALL the Group 3 fax images, and MOST Group 4 fax images, with no limitations.

3.It seems the thumb images shows only part of every fax image, why?

As function limited shareware, unregistered FaxSee Pro does open and show ONLY PART of each fax image, as well as in thumb images. That's why you see only part of every fax in thumb images.
